Jeff Willmeng
President, Owner
Before founding Jeff Willmeng Homes in 1978, Jeff received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona and has been involved in the building industry ever since.
Jeff is an active member of the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association and serves on its custom builder council. Jeff's successes and innovations as a custom home builder have been recognized on numerous occasions by the industry.
He is married to Barbi Willmeng and has two sons, Jason and Scott.
John Tessendorf
John began his career in construction over 21 years ago as a journeyman carpenter. He is accomplished in lumber, cabinetry, window and millwork purchasing as well as blueprint reading and estimating.
Eric Mikkelson
Eric's career in construction started at an early age as a laborer. Since then, Eric has progressed through nearly every aspect of construction from rough framing carpenter to finish carpentry at Koedyker Construction to framing foreman at Coleman Wood Works to site superintendent for various commercial buildings in the Tucson area. Along the way, he expanded his skills to include forming and finishing concrete and cabinetry.
Burton Byars
Burton earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1976, with continuing education in the areas of real estate appraising and financing, Most recently, Burton was a Senior Appraisal Analyst for First National Bank of Arizona. He has performed and/or managed departments for various financial institutions in the areas of audit and review, appraisals and construction financing.
John Calkins
Before joining Jeff Willmeng Homes in 1999, John worked in custom carpentry and millwork for 20 years, owning his own company for 10 of those years. For the past 15 years, John has specialized in supervision and project management of high-end custom homes.
John has attended the University of Nebraska School of Architecture, the Nebraska Technical College and the University of Arizona.
Bruce Loose
Bruce is a native Tusconian, a 1979 graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Registered Architect in the state of Arizona.
Among his many accomplishments at the architectural firm of Anderson, Debartolo and Pan, he served as Project Designer and Construction Administrator for the $160 million replacement hospital for Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska and as the lead designer for the Navajo Regional Medical Center in New Mexico.
Before joining Jeff Willmeng Homes as a Project Manager in 2004, Bruce designed and built custom homes in the area.
Jason Willmeng
In 2002, Jason earned a degree in Resort Management from Northern Arizona University. After two years with the Hilton Company and Evans Hotels, Jason joined the team at Jeff Willmeng Homes.
Angela Romero
As Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to Jeff Willmeng, Angela’s responsibilities include payment of all client bills in connection to the construction of their home, assistance to project managers and maintenance of subcontractor insurance.
